Just received these fun and gorgeous cow printed pumps from Jennie Ellen in Sweden. Aren’t they great? They are so comfortable too! I thought I’d mix it up by pairing these with these tartan plaid pants from Zara (old – last season). I am easing my way back into wearing pumps on a regular basis – it used to be all I wore, but with a little baby it seems a bit more impractical. I could NEVER give them up for good – especially when there are pumps like these out there! What do you guys think of these pumps? How would you wear them?

XO!

I have been so out of the blogging loop lately. Just soaking up some major cuddle time with our little one and loving it! I am so grateful to my readers for continuing to check out my blog even though I have been a bit silent.

So here’s to a new fall beginning and some more outfit posts as I start to get back into the groove of life as a mommy/fashion plate! This blog will always be a fun medium for me to show off my daily fashion choices and fashion loves – I just need a little time to step away from it this summer! But now, I’m back!

Here are some fun things I picked up in the last few months!

Was planning on heading up to the city (i.e. San Francisco) this weekend to do a little window shopping, but it looks like the weather is going to be less than desirable for being outside. Unfortunately, I probably won’t make it up before Christmas arrives. I have most of my shopping done, but there is something so magical about walking through the busy streets, walking past hoards of people carrying all their shopping bags, rushing about trying to finish up their last minute “to-do’s”.

We’ve had a major cold snap this week, and while I really wanted to wear these new pants from Zara, they left my ankles with a little chill. I countered in with my oversized and super warm Uniqlo down jacket from the Jil Sander collaboration a couple years back. Still one of my favorite purchases.

Storm is a Brewin’

today’s closetcast: cozy vintage

Thought I’d dress down today. Just sort of feeling it. It’s also freezing so I just feel like hiding away at my little beachside bungalow, listening to the stormy waves, and being super super cozy.

today’s closetcast: inspired

Stole a little inspiration from the simply chic Emmanuelle Alt. Love how she never varies too far from her standard skinny jeans and loosely fit shirts and blazers, but still manages to make that androgynous look feminine.

Loving my Rebecca Minkoff Jaunt heels. They are so much fun and a nice change-up from your standard pumps. These will be fun to incorporate into so many looks! They are neutral – but not.
