today’s closetcast: unprepared

This has been a hectic week so I’m sorry for the lack of posting! I was rushing out the door and snapped a couple of pics very quickly. More detailed outfit posts to come for the weekend!

Thought I’d feature my new Mango Military Coat – I love the two-tone sleeves and oversized fit. It’s also exceptionally warm, which is great for this stormy day!

How is everyone’s week going so far!? Thank you for reading! XOXO

The Day After…

today’s closetcast: brisk and bright

The day after a holiday weekend always feels a bit bogged down doesn’t it? Me and the fella took a trip down to Santa Barbara to see family for a couple days, which is always nice. We hit up my favorite Mexican spot, La Super-Rica, picked a few favorites off the menu, then drove up to Shoreline Park to sit on a bench and unintentionally taunt the gulls with our delicious lunch. The trip down south is always a bit too short, but the weather in sunny southern Cali is definitely different from the chill that welcomed us home.
I’m so sorry for the lack of posts last week, it was a crazy week and the weather wasn’t fully cooperating. It looks like it might be more of the same here with rain in the forecast from Wednesday until Sunday. I’ll have to get a bit more creative with my posts.

Thanks so much for your patience! I didn’t do a Thanksgiving post, but just wanted to say I am thankful for all of my 2100+ readers! WOW! SO amazing!

Storm is a Brewin’

today’s closetcast: cozy vintage

Thought I’d dress down today. Just sort of feeling it. It’s also freezing so I just feel like hiding away at my little beachside bungalow, listening to the stormy waves, and being super super cozy.

Handmade Stripes

today’s closetcast: welcoming

Woke up to fog and drizzle this morning and this sweater just felt right.

Did all of you enjoy the streetstyle post from Milan Fashion Week yesterday? I’ve been loving all your comments on your favorite looks! Thanks so much!!

Have a couple new fun purchases coming my way in the next couple of weeks that I can’t wait to feature! Stay tuned!!

Vintage Mode

today’s closetcast: backwards day

I have worn this skirt before here, but you’ll notice in that today I am wearing this skirt backwards! I was kind of into the slit being in the front so I just went for it. No one will probably be able to tell, except for you my dedicated readers.

Nearing the end of the week and I cannot wait for the weekend. This week was pretty eventful though, I must say. Had a couple school related events, went to see Hot Chip in Oakland and danced all night, and now… the weekend. I can’t complain!

Don’t forget to check out my facebook page and give me a like! I’ve been posting fun photos from NYFW that I am loving!
