Happy New Year!

today’s closetcast: memory lane

Happy New Year to all of my amazing and supportive readers! All of you make blogging so much fun and I look forward to your comment and likes every single day!

I thought to close out 2012 and to welcome 2013 with open arms, I would do a post of some of my favorite looks from 2012. I’m excited about the year ahead and hope all of you are looking forward to more posts from this “fashionable girl weathering daily style storms”.

Thank you again!! XOXOXO

today’s closetcast: slight chill

A brisk Wednesday morning, but I still opted for bare legs and booties. I love this Opening Ceremony skirt, worn before here, funky and oh so warm! It’s perfect and made skipping the tights seem a little less crazy. The t-shirt is an impulse buy from H&M and is one of those $17 dollar “investments” that I think will go a long way. Love the rhinestone collar. My trusty Rachel Comey booties have returned again – I swear I will have these forever. Now, I have my eye on these babies… Rachel Comey boots are the best. They are perfect for my narrow feet and are just SOOO comfortable. I can’t say enough about them! Pricey but worth it – and you’ll have them forever.

Rainy Days

today’s closetcast: procrastination station

It’s cold and rainy today, so I’m inside being cozy and not so blog-post worthy. Thought I’d compile a couple looks I am thinking about for this welcoming shift in the weather.

I am currently obsessed with ALL of these pieces… I can’t choose just one!

What do you guys think?

1. Topshop Camo Utility Jacket; 2. Lauren Moffat Wuthering Heights Cathy dress via Cameron Marks boutique; 3. Bonnie Hat via NeedSupply; 4. Clare Vivier leopard clutch; 5. Nixon Kensington watch; 6. Joie Winds of March oxfords; 7. Topshop leather pinafore dress; 8. Isabel Marant Lazio boots; 9. Soo Ihn Kim chain bracelet (on its way to me now!); 10. H&M knit beanie; 11. The Wild Magazine via Opening Ceremony; 12. Leather doctor’s bag in oxblood

Opening Ceremony

today’s closetcast: fuzzy feelings

Picked up this skirt a few months ago on Moda Operandi… a website that is pretty much my latest addiction. Isn’t this skirt so much fun!? It has such volume, which I love, and the unique fabric makes such a statement. I wore it with my trusty Madewell blazer and an H&M t-shirt with a crazy galactic print.

I spent the weekend dancing, laughing, and being merry with amazing people for an incredible wedding and needless to say, today flats were in order. These Pixie Market flats were such a great bargain buy and they are so much dressier than your standard issue black flats.

Happy Monday everyone! Remember to make your way over to my Facebook page and give me a “like“! XOXO
