today’s closetcast:  seeing the light Image

Went for a nice afternoon stroll in our downtown area today. Found that there is really no point in trying to camouflage my “bump” any longer as it is here to stay for a few more months!

I love walking around downtown after a storm. People are out and about and generally in a good mood. Did some window shopping and found some great Mother Denim from Pacific Trading Co. that I might be my new favorites! They feel like a dream! I am very loyal to my J. Brand denim and am a fairly strong believer in simple denim – especially no unnecessary stitching on back pockets. These are along the same vein and seem so wearable!

At any rate, I realize as I state I like simple denim, I am wearing in these photos a pair of embellished denim with embroidered patches on the leg. I couldn’t resist these H&M embroidered jeans though and they work well with my bump as they have a low rise which fits right under my expanding belly. Perfect!

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I am hoping to do another outfit post later this weekend as I was a bit MIA this week. XOXO my wonderful readers!

fatigue shirt: Zara (similar here), tank: Cynthia Rowley, jeans: H&M, flats: Pixie Market, necklace: vintage, purse: Fendi, sunglasses: Karen Walker
