Made in Kind

today’s closetcast: transition

With a perfect overall aesthetic, Anthropologie does it, yet again, with their collection called “Made In Kind“. Featuring limited edition designs created in collaboration with their favorite designers, every piece looks totally unique and avoids that mass-produced feel.

This dress is one of those. From designer duo Ace & Jig, this dress, at first glance, seems appropriate for summer only. Its simple shift silhouette, an uber-soft gauze fabric, and mini-dress length make it perfect for a beach day soaking up the sun. But, when I added my trusty leather jacket and favorite ankle boots, this dress became a transitional piece perfect for that in-between summer/fall weather.

Has everyone been checking out the latest and greatest from NYFW? I’ve been glued to and my favorite streetstyle blogs to get some major inspiration… wish my wallet would cooperate!

OH! I must add a special “THANK YOU!” to all of my followers. You guys are AMAZING! I made it over the 1,000 marker on WordPress – incredible!! Please make your way over to my Facebook page and “like” me there too! I post some updates on my page and would love to include all of my amazing supporters! XOXO

dress: Ace & Jig, jacket: old (similar here), boots: Rachel Comey, watch: Michael Kors, bracelet: Dannijo
