Windblown

today’s closetcast: reflective basics

\

This top was actually a dress. I picked it up years ago from Urban Outfitters (I think?) and loved the silk material, but didn’t like the fit as a dress. So I cut and sewed it one day in a fit and turned it into a sort of draped tunic with rather dramatic side slits that you can’t really see in this picture. Love being crafty, but typically lack the patience for anything too structured. Good thing this shirt didn’t have too many complicated elements to work through.

Top/dress: Urban Outfitters; pants: H&M, boots: vintage
