today’s closetcast: breezy & nostalgic
As a kid, a lot of my clothes were hand-me-downs from my cousin and my mother’s friends’ daughters in Japan. Most of the clothes I loved, they were always so different from anything you could find in the states – but there were a lot of these bottoms … culottes. I hated them growing up and refused to wear them. I was surprised to find myself drawn to these recently. I actually quite like them. I think the mid-calf length and crepe fabric feel make them much more wearable.
