today’s closetcast: lazy Friday
Ran a few errands this afternoon and grabbed lunch with my fella. Just wanted to be easy and this is basically my go-to weekend look. Favorite white T, skinny jeans, and my comfy sneakers. It was a bit chilly, but gloriously sunny. We ate lunch in the sun and just lazily strolled around downtown. Luckily we soaked up enough vitamin D before the rain clouds rolled in today!
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! XOXO

today’s closetcast: first day
Hope everyone had a wonderful vacation/holiday. Now it’s back to the grind! I like to ease into it, especially with my wardrobe, so I kept it simple today with some comfortable flats and a favorite tee. It’s always nice to introduce variations of those wardrobe staples though, so I did that here with some studded loafers and a striped nautical tee. Add a layered rhinestone necklace and my look doesn’t look like an afterthought.
Here’s to a short (and quick) week back!! Thanks so much for reading!! XOXO

today’s closetcast: memory lane
Happy New Year to all of my amazing and supportive readers! All of you make blogging so much fun and I look forward to your comment and likes every single day!
I thought to close out 2012 and to welcome 2013 with open arms, I would do a post of some of my favorite looks from 2012. I’m excited about the year ahead and hope all of you are looking forward to more posts from this “fashionable girl weathering daily style storms”.
Thank you again!! XOXOXO
today’s closetcast: relaxation mode
Was planning on heading up to the city (i.e. San Francisco) this weekend to do a little window shopping, but it looks like the weather is going to be less than desirable for being outside. Unfortunately, I probably won’t make it up before Christmas arrives. I have most of my shopping done, but there is something so magical about walking through the busy streets, walking past hoards of people carrying all their shopping bags, rushing about trying to finish up their last minute “to-do’s”.
We’ve had a major cold snap this week, and while I really wanted to wear these new pants from Zara, they left my ankles with a little chill. I countered in with my oversized and super warm Uniqlo down jacket from the Jil Sander collaboration a couple years back. Still one of my favorite purchases.
