A heavyweight cotton bodycon dress, a lightweight sheer blouse, oversized angora sweater, rich suede boots and a pair of nylon tights. Texture.

Casual Friday
today’s closetcast: lazy
Not the most creative of posts I’ve ever done, but ever had one of those days where you have so much to do but just.want.to.do.nothing? That is me today. The wind has died down here, crazy how much damage it did, leaving behind a beautiful pristine (and empty) beach that is just inviting me to lay on and nap. Still a touch chilly, hence the layers, but warm and sunny enough to not want to be indoors. Unfortunately that is where I am. Hope my other Cali readers are enjoying the aftermath of the crazy a little more than I am.
On another note, these sneakers are a dream. They comprise my uniform on most weekends, are comfortable yet delicate in design, and are perfect for those dress down days.

today’s closetcast: pajama pants
These are definitely not pajama pants, but they feel like it. A hot trend right now, thought I am positive I couldn’t pull it off. I love the slouch of these pants and the suspenders that really serve no functional purpose – pure aesthetic.

today’s closetcast: slightly androgynous
When it doubt, I reach for a nice tailored men’s shirt and my favorite skinnies…. and of course my trusty snood/scarf/vest.
