The Maison Scotch SS12 lookbook pretty much exemplifies how to master the art of “everyday dressing”. I know that phrase is trite, but it’s true. These looks are perfect for everyday – not trying too hard, slightly ruffled, and like I just threw everything together last minute but still look this chic. I especially love the dropcrotch harem pants, tweed blazer, scribbled jeans and gladiator ankle-wrap sandals.
I discovered Scotch & Soda, the Amsterdam-based menswear line, a few years ago while perusing a mens boutique in Williamsburg and just loved it. Then Maison Scotch, the womens equivalent, was released in 2010. Perfectly unfettered, yet simple, dressing for women.
