Never Let Me Down
today’s closetcast: tailored 
This is what I wore to work today. I love wearing my leather pants, but they can be a bit too flashy on their own. My trusty “never-let-me-down” Madewell blazer always sharpens things up. This blazer is one of the best purchases I ever made AND I got it on sale. The top has a peplum shape to it – really fun for spring/summer. I’ll have to wear it on its own for a future post soon.
I apologize for the posts being on the skimpy side lately. I have a some big things to prepare for in the coming weeks, then I’m off to Japan with my fella! It will be his first trip out there, so it will be fun to play tour guide and introduce him to my family.

Simply Studded
today’s closetcast: blacked out 
Sometimes quick changes in weather can really trip me out. Saturday it was 80 degrees by the beach, with barely any onshore wind. Today, it’s mid-50s and windy with drizzle. Nuts! The refreshing chill in the air made me a bit sentimental for the Pacific Northwest, specifically my visits to see one of my best friends in the funky town of Bellingham.
Chose a blacked out look today. My favorite black tee always gets plenty of use in the wardrobe rotation, but when paired with some studded black heels it looks just a touch more dressed up than usual.

Dreamy Seas
today’s closetcast: anywhere but here
It’s a beautiful day today, and these pictures perfectly fit my mood. Sort of feeling a little overwhelmed by the events of the next couple weeks and these worry free images are soothing me a bit. Wouldn’t it be nice to transport to the open sea for a day of pure relaxation on a sailboat?
