Consisting of equal parts ‘Dynasty‘ revival and old-lady glam (see the sequins), this sweater is not something I would typically gravitate towards, but here I am. I love the v-back and zipper detail and think this will be a fun piece to mix up.

today’s closetcast: recovering
After a crazy long weekend in NYC all I need is… another weekend to recover! Kept it simple with my look in starting out the week. The necklace is the one from F21 that I wore here. I mixed it with an old Madewell necklace that I bought in Soho about three years ago – prior to them opening up the magic of their online shop. I just wrapped them around each other and a new necklace is born.
Hope everyone had a splendid weekend – rain is due to set in which will be perfect for all the work I need to catch up on!

today’s closetcast: favorite tee
It’s easy to tell from my posts that I am a fan of mixing textures. Here, I like the way a typically refined tweed is roughed up a bit by a leather motorcycle jacket.
You can’t see the shirt I am wearing underneath but it is so comfortable. Essentially like your favorite pajama top. It’s definitely baseball inspired which is in line with the trend spotted throughout the fashion weeks – Baseball Hats! I don’t usually wear hats and probably wouldn’t start with a baseball cap, but these girls make it look so chic!
